I finally found a good deal on a 1993 FXR. got it off ebay, pics as soon as it's delivered.

I am by no means a good metal fabricator. I try that is all I can say lol... This is my first tank that I am doing and I got my starting point for this from a lowbrow customs tech video. I found it really hard to mark the center line correctly but I got it close and went from there.

I think these old shovelhead foot peg mounts will work well for mids on this bike. I got different pegs that are similar to these but got more of a stainless look.

 Made a few changes nothing big but I think I'm going to finally give in to my want for an FXR, so the sporty is going to probably have to go.

 Picked this 89 883 up at the beginning of summer for 1700. thought it was a good deal till I had to put cams, rollers and a clutch and clutch basket in it. Runs really good though and surprises me for only being an 883.

I'm using stock fender for test fit and template for new fender that's in the mail.
