Feels Like a milestone has came this weekend. It has been a year since the softail has been off the lift. I am still so far away from being done. I am definitely pretty stoked.

Thanks to Rene over at Mercurymoto for all the time spent  getting these bars just right for me.

Kick stand back on and got the the risers and bars welded today. Making some good head way.

So this is where I am at so far. I got along way to go. I bought the BUB pipes cheap on ebay with the plan to cut the ends off and use to make a high exhaust down the middle, but after playing around I found they actually fit with no modification and I really like they way they look with the whole set up so for now I'm going to use as is.

So my plan was to put a fender on my softail that I have not seen. Allot of guys attach the fender to the swing arm but to me it give the bike a stretched out look and then I have only seen a few seat combinations that I like and most actually end up nailing you on every bump you hit. This is what I have come up with. It needs some refining but all in all It is what I am going to be using. I need to fine tune the cut out and the suspension travel but I think it will work out good.
