I had the stock rear rim and hub powder coated and laced with Buchanan stainless spokes. For the front  I wanted something wide but not a 16" so I found an early sporty/fx 19" and laced it to the stock wideglide hub off the springer. Finished it all off with a set of Firestones from Universal tire.

I found this bike on http://viva.shix-mc.com. I am drawing allot of inspiration from this bike. I really love the Japan motorcycle scene. I was stationed there for three years.

I actually just started with a broken inner primary. I got bored and decided to play around and one thing led to the next.

This is a 91' I bought at the end of 2010 up in Oakland. I got a good price and rode it all of 2011. I tore it down right before christmas 2011. I have been slowly working on it since. I had hoped to ride it this summer but I am hoping for next spring now.
